Macrosync was founded in 2020 by two engineers who were tired of watching good companies make expensive technical decisions based on bad advice. We started with a simple bet: hire only senior engineers, say no to bad-fit work, and let the results speak.
Four years later, we've shipped 50+ production systems across software, AI, and cloud for teams from seed-stage startups to Fortune 500 divisions. We still operate the same way we started — senior ownership, direct communication, and a refusal to overpromise.

Founded in San Francisco
2020 Q3Alex Chen and Priya Sharma left their respective roles at Stripe and Google to start Macrosync. First two clients signed within 60 days — both referrals.
First AI engagement
2021 Q1Delivered our first AI-powered workflow automation — an intelligent document processing pipeline for a FinTech client. The project set the template for every AI engagement since.
Team grows to 8
2021 Q4Hired Marcus, Sara, James, and Nadia — all ex-FAANG or ex-unicorn engineers. Established the no-junior-engineers policy that still holds today.
Cloud practice launched
2022 Q2Formalized our Cloud & DevOps practice after completing 10 successful cloud migrations. First enterprise client signed — a healthcare network with 15 years of legacy infrastructure.
LLM Integration practice
2023 Q1Launched our LLM Integration service line as GPT-4 went into production. Completed 8 enterprise LLM integrations in the first 12 months.
50 projects milestone
2024 Q2Shipped our 50th production system. Average client relationship is now 18 months — a number we're more proud of than any revenue metric.
